Back in 1915, our building at 25 Institute Road was home to a short-lived picture house called Cosy Cinema. We love the idea of bringing screenings back to life and sharing our passion for film. Expect world cinema, documentaries, and a warm welcome for local filmmakers (we would love to hear from you if you want your show your film)
We also enjoy talking about films, so we create a relaxed space for attendees to share their thoughts after each screening.
Our screenings are usually free, our setup is delightfully DIY, and it’s all done purely for the love of cinema.
